From children to young adults everyone enjoys the thrilling activities here. From the 8th to 17th floor, it’s full of games, fun and astonishing stuff. However, the entire 8th floor is dedicated for kids. Parents can also walk around the huge premise and even wait and sit while their kids play. Enough sitting arrangements are there on each floor so that you don’t need to stand impatiently. 

People from any age can participate in one of these games as here you have something for everyone. 

5. Buriganga Riverview Restaurant 

To enjoy a breathtaking view of the riverport, especially at night, a visit to the Buriganga Riverview Restaurant is a must. This place stands exactly at the rooftop of the terminal building. 

Here you will get all types of foods, ice-cream and desserts. The lights, open spaces, inner and outer design will make you stop and stare for a minute and just appreciate the architecture.

Standing at the edge of the rooftop, you will see a wide range of colourful boats, ferries, launches and cargo ships, all while witnessing the daily life of the people who rely on the river for their livelihoods. 

Besides, you can also get down and enjoy a boat ride in the Buriganga River. It can be a thrilling experience for children as it gives them a chance to see the city from a different perspective. 

The restaurant and port is also surrounded by local markets, where you can do shopping and enjoy the atmosphere.

6. Hatirjheel

A very familiar place to the people, especially for people who live in Dhaka.  This place is beautiful and peaceful during morning and evening times.

It is actually a huge lake area covered with green and eye-pleasing settings around it, which surely can bring calm to one's mind.

7. Jolshiri Central Park

Jolshiri Central Park in Rupganj, Narayanganj, is managed by the Bangladesh Army. It’s another clean, family-friendly space  in Dhaka. 

This park centers on a lovely lake where you can paddle boats which cost only 100 taka for 30 minutes, speedboats about 500 taka for 30 minutes. 

There were many arcade games where children could play, while adults could roam around the maze and watch a 3D vision show. An open-air stage and artificial waterfall add charm to the park. 

Inside Central Park, there is a restaurant. Entrance fee is BDT 230 for adults. For military personnel and their families, the entry fee is only BDT 20. It’s free for children under-six and disabled persons. It remains open from 9 am to 6 pm. 

You should leave early and prepare to return before Maghrib, because there is no locality next to it and vehicles are not available, you have to take autorickshaws, and remember, the fare increases after evening! Those who have a private car have no say, bike, or safety!

8. Ramna Park

Located in the middle of Dhaka, Ramna Park is a nice place for families seeking a peaceful time in nature. The centerpiece is a calming lake, surrounded by wooden walkways and bridges, perfect for leisurely walks and enjoying the natural beauty. 

Children can enjoy the dedicated playground, while adults can relax on benches or engage in morning exercises along the shaded paths. 

The park's cleanliness and well-maintained facilities increase the overall experience, making it an ideal spot for family outings. 

It is open daily from 6 AM to 11 AM and 3 PM to 7:30 PM; the rest of the time, it stays closed for security reasons.
